Seine Cruise

Does anyone have any information about taking a Seine Cruise? Perhaps a website or email address? I read about one in the Rick Steve's Paris 2000 book and am very interested in taking one. Any input would be appreciated. Merci Beaucoup!

We used Bateaux Parisiens which is located at the Eiffel Tower (tour Eiffel). They have cruises all day and a dinner cruise. They have a web site www.bateauxparisiens.com.

My wife and children and I rode last Saturday night on the Vedettes du Pont-Neuf, with a rare Parisian snowfall swirling in the lights. Unforgettable! <BR>http://www.pontneuf.net/

Here are a few more companies that do this: www.bateauxparisiens.com, www.bateaux-mouches.fr, www.vedettedeparis.fr

In addition to the websites and cruises mentioned above I vote for Vedettes de Pont Neuf because the boats are smaller, commentary good, and for me the <BR>location is more convenient, right in the middle of Pont Neuf www.pontneuf.net/ <BR>There are also cruises on the Seine from Paris to other towns and back <BR>http://giverny.org/cruises/camille/ <BR>index.htm <BR>www.croisiere.com/pages/english/ <BR>seine.htm <BR>www.pariscanal.com/ boats travel on the Canal St Martin from the 19th arrondissement to the 4th, to the accompaniment of music by Edith Piaf as well as commentary. This was once very highly recommended by a poster on this forum. <BR> <BR>

We have taken both Bateaux Parisiens and Bateaux Mouches cruises and prefered the Mateaux Mouches. It is more formal requireing coat and tie, but overall seemed more pleasant. You see the same things however. <BR> <BR>wrs
