Seeking name of high end clothing store with restaurant above in London

Sort of like a barneys but on a much smaller scale with a restaurant above it. Entire building is two, maybe three stories tops. SMALL.

Can't remember name of shop or restaurant. Can anyone help?

Maybe Harvey Nichols? It's 5 stories, but looks lower. It's in Knightsbridge.

If that's not it, if you can remember a district name that would help narrow it down.

Any clues on a district then? Or sights nearby?

Not Liberty London? mock-Tudor style building (white with dark brown timber on outside), just off Oxford and Regent Streets. Doesn't completely fit the description but taking a punt.

No no, this is a small boutique shop with a brunch restaurant above it. Restaurant is not part of the shop, unrelated.

Do you have any idea what part of town??

Otherwise it would be a bit of a needle in a haystack . . .

Hmmm, then no idea! I'll go back to my original qu: any major sights nearby? Or as janisj and I have both asked, do you know the district/area it's in perhaps?

I'm curious now; I'm pretty familiar with shopping in London, and would have thought Harvey Nichols too. Plenty of shops with restaurants, but mostly basement or ground floor.

Except maybe Bluebird on King's Road? Definitely boutique (fantastic shop), shop on large ground floor, with restaurant above. And café next to it.

I thought of Nicole's as well, but that's in the basement.

Oh, yes, General Trading Co, Sloane street. Glad it is still there. can't remember if there is a restaurant, it's been so long since I've been in London. But that's the one I was thinking of. Let's see if the OP remembers it.

The General Trading Co. off Sloane Street closed some time ago. Now located in S. Kensington on Pelham.
