Seeking a Magical, Charming Self-Catering Cottage suitable for two Leprechauns -- near Dingle

On my recent trip to N. Ireland I guess I got spoiled. I fell in love with a cottage (Limepark) where my partner and I spent a blissful week touring the Antrim coast. It was like our own little home -- from the early 1700's, yet with all modern amenities; beautiful views; privacy; kitchen, huge stone fireplace, and more.

We're looking for something similar for our upcoming trip, to use as a base to explore the Dingle Peninsula and surrounding area.

My initial search has been frustrating. All I'm finding are agency-rented, sterile homes that sleep 7 - 8, and seem to have no charm or character. I'm also finding that lots of places are closed in February. We just need one bedroom, sitting room, kitchen, and bath--with lots of charm.

Any wonderful gems to recommend?

A good hobbit house is hard to find. But I would love to know more about your cottage in Limepark Antrim NI. I don't know that we will make it back there, but a girl can dream!

I apologize for posting this without personal knowledge, but as an addicted armchair traveler, one of the things I do is bookmark places I might look into later...and this is one I have bookmarked in Dingle:

I hope you will find a place that works for you! Let us know!

Barbara -

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!! That cottage seems to be exactly what I've been looking for! I'm so excited.

I realized I must have accidentally posted this under "Europe" instead of Ireland and will repost -- but I have a feeling I'm not going to find anything else I like better.

I LOVE this board!!!
