Seeing Rocamadour from l'Hospitalet
 

When you are viewing Rocamadour from across the river in l'Hospitalet are you looking west? That's what it looks like on the map but it's not entirely clear. I am planning on visiting it on my way to/from elsewhere and want to know if morning or afternoon would be better. Thanks.

The view from l'Hospitalet toward Rocamadour is southeast, 5 minutes by car, about 1 mile distance. It's a little over a half-mile if walking, about 15 minutes at an easy pace.
