it's not that closefor most, but for us, we don't mind the distance. We travel many miles each year than most people.

Just checked the site, and it IS in Burgundy; what do you do, take the train to Gare de Lyon and then taxi to CDG?

It looks very pretty in the pix.

No, I've been there with J., my husband. I don't drive. Yes it is in Burgundy;The Yonne is the river that runs in front of the hotel. It's a small place which are places we like.
It's rustic not elegant. The dining room's chandeliers, I love. They're wrapped in rope, at least it looks like that which could be the work of Christian Liaigre, a noted French furniture designer whose shop is on the Rue de Bac, I think.

You mentioned staying there the night before you fly back; I just wondered how you got from there to CDG for a presumably late morning/early afternoon flight.
