Seating on AF 777-200

Hi all,

I shall be taking my mother for her first trip to Paris in late April.

We are flying on an Air France 777-200, which has 3/3/3 seating, in Economy. Our seats are 36K/L (window)which the chart shows as being just abaft the exit door.

We would like to see something other than the wing.

Are these seats OK, or should we move further back?

Any experience with the double seats alllll the waaaaay back at the tail?

All help appreciated. Thanks.

Will www.seatguru.com answer some of your questions? Choose the airline, drop down the list of planes to see their seat configurations...

From what I remember you should be fine, re your view. You will see the wing, but it will be about 15 seats infront of you. I thingk there are only about 39-42 rows anyway. Anyway I have always found it kinda comforting to see the wing infront of me, just in case... As to how it is to travel in the rear all the way, you usually find that on a non-capacity flight the rear is where all the space is, so if your there already you are more likely to have a couple of seats to spread out! If you go to airliners.net you can search for the aircraft schematic you want.

Enjoy

Sorry, I just checked and it only has domestic airlines...

If you are on the first row behind the galley near the exit door, you are in the seats that have leg room.
Otherwise, tall passenger suffer from ultra cramped space.
I flew Delta B777 once and AF B777 configurations once and never again.
I will stay home rather than fly those cattle cars.
