I just returned from Paris on an American 767. When I got to the airport, I requested (and received) an exit row on the aisle, two-seater. It was so roomy, my seat-mate was able to get out without disturbing me.

Get to the airport early & put your request in.

Thanks for the updated 2E map. Anyone changed from 2F to 2E recently? I'm doing it Friday morning en route to Florence (yay!) and wondering if it's a long walk. We have 3 hours 45 minutes if the plane's on time, so I'm not worried about time, just the length of the walk for my mother.

We had quite a discussion about CDG & getting from place to place & time needed. I ended up changing what airline called "legal." Now I have 3-4 hours instead of 1. see "Navigating CDG 2E to 2D"

767 is safest and an easy aircraft to fly go for this rather than leg room

By the way, have you noticed a lot less "more room through coach" ads from AA. They are "quietly" reducing the number of planes with this feature. While Americans talk about comfort the money does not always follow.

I think the empannage of the 767 stays on better, but that has nothing to do with seating.

AA has removed "More Room Throughout Coach" in its 757 and A300. A300 are almost exclusively used in Carribean service, while 757 is throughout the domestic system. All European or Asian flights are with 767 and 777, so MRTC remains in effect.
