Seat reservation on TGV
When I make my reservations for the TVG from Paris to Avignon will I be able to acutally see the seats I reserve like you can see them on the airline reservation. I'm just afraid that if there's no picture our 2 seat might not end up being together.

Hi S,
The computer will put you together if there are still two seats together. |
no, you cannot see them nor request specific seats.
|
I'll me making the reservations as soon as they will allow me, I hear you can make them 3 months ahead of time for Prems. I don't really mind where we sit as long as the seats are together.
|
consecutive seat numbers are not always together.
odd numbers can be next to each other or seat 58 could be one row ahead of seat 59 so don't freak when you see the seat numbers you have reserved. And there may be empty seats that you can relocated to if need be. |
The SNCF site allows you to choose side-by-side, face-to-face, separate, upper level, lower level and seats in the direction of the train movement. But you won't see a seating chart on your screen.

For those who don't think this is possible, look at the little "choose your seat" box that appears when you click to select a fare.

Hi K,
>look at the little "choose your seat" box..< For 2 or more people, you get "window, aisle or carré" |
carre means cube? Is this a separate area with two seats opposite two seats with a table in between?
