Thanks billbarr. But you don't even have to PLEASE spell it correctly to get loads of hits on a Google search -lol! Not sure why everyone is being so negative here.

suze, I agree totally with your final sentence but confused by the first. Have I misspelt something? You know, putting that to the side this thread has brought back happy memories of that trip apart from the rough seas. Mind, it was late October and how daft of me to think the seas would be calm!

<<My dream is Israel so I can see Biblical history, but giving my wife her all-inclusive stay is more important to me right now. The thought is that if I get close enough to Israel, I can do a quick flight in and see a few things and then fly back out the next day, but I have no idea how that would work.>> As others have mentioned, you can take a mini cruise from Cyprus to the Holy Land (amongst other destinations). It's a popular thing to do, Israel or Egypt especially.

<<The timeline for our trip is June-August 2020.>> Go before the school summer holidays, avoid late July/August as it will be the most crowded and extremely hot.

<<Any ideas for great destinations or lower price all inclusive resorts? >> Cyprus is not cheap esp during the summer, there are alot of 4/5 star hotels, if you want lower price, maybe head to Spain

Ah..thank you so much. I just couldn't figure out the message from suze because I am usually pretty careful with spelling. What did make me smile was a funny private message this morning (from someone who hasn't posted in the thread) letting me know that I might cause further confusion by using misspelt instead of misspelled. Definitely two nations divided by a common language!
