bear in mind -- It is only Dickie_Gr who can shave 20% off the drive times ;) Most mortals need to add that much, or usually more . . .
|
No I just drive on these roads every day of the week.
The figures quoted are inaccurate. |

That may be why the figures are inaccurate for you. |
As far as I was aware Via Michelin does not build getting lost into drive times.

>>As far as I was aware Via Michelin does not build getting lost into drive times. << . . . nor sheep or caravans in the road (we've had this 'discussion' before C:) )

The issue is not getting lost. It's the locals cursing the tourist for driving too slowly, whatever the reasons may be--and discomfort with narrow roads and driving on the unfamiliar side of the road might be two of them.

We did not think the roads were as narrow as in Ireland and parts of England, but maybe I was more used to the UK country roads by then. Although I don't remember as many hedges in Scotland as there were in Ireland and England.
I do remember...............often...............coming around a corner or over a hill and all 3 of us saying OMG and pulling over to get out of the car and take pictures and just gawk. Sorry Michael, you were probably cursing at me ;) |
Via Michelin builds driving at the speed limit into their drive times Dickie. To shave 20% off their times you must exceed the speed limit.
Since suggesting anything illegal is against the forum terms of use, I would suggest you keep a low profile about your illegal driving habits. |
