Hi Fodorites, does anyone have any tips on finding the best price for car rentals in Scotland? My daughter needs to rent a small car (2 adults and one infant) in Edinburgh for 2 1/2 weeks in June/July and the prices seem quite high. So far the best price found has been about $1500 CDN. Wondered if anyone had any tips or could recommend good sites to check.

Just use AutoEurope -- they are a broker who handles all the major international and European rental companies. One site where you can compare and contrast the various car classes for their specific dates/insurance requirements.

But she may still end up with sticker shock -- just as in NA, rental prices are higer everywhere than in the 'before times'
