scnf purchasing tickets picking up in spain?

hi all,
im planning a trip to spain and will be traveling to toulouse, france. by train. I am using the scnf (french) site to order tickets. If I order the tickets online through the french site, can I pick them up at the kiosk in barcelona, spain? I assume that all the trains are interconnected and it wouldn't make a difference. Thanks.

If you're from the States, you will not be able to pick up the tickets at a kiosk since you will need to use your credit card, which will not work. Why not download the tickets instead?

Go to print your ticket, but instead of printing it, save it as a PDF. Keep it in your e-mail folder on the web and print it out in Spain. Or print it out at home, but save a copy on the web in case you misplace the original printout.

If you buy tickets from the SNCF, you can only collect them from a French station. Either print your own ticket, or book through RENFE.

If you purchase iDTGV or PREM tickets, you will be able to print the tickets from home (from anywhere actually). Otherwise, I agree with GeofHamer that you will only be able to pick up tickets at a French station.

Hi VC,

If you buy tickets online you can get them at any French train station or SNCF boutique. I don't know of any SNCF boutiques in Barcelona.

If you purchase a PREMS ticket, you can print it out on your own printer.

I was going to say, I had never heard of being able to pick up train tickets in countries outside the national railroad they are on. Now if you go to a travel agent in that country, they may be able to write such a ticket for you in another country. In any case, I believe the only SNCF boutiques outside France are in Brussels.
