Finally wrote a short report on my honeymoon day trip to Capri. Beautiful little island but very hot in September! Hope you enjoy the pictures.

Hi bostonallison, Wonderful shots. Too bad Capri was so crowded but I'm glad you at least got a glimpse of it. Positano made of for Capri's shortcomings, I hope!

I'm in early planning stages for a fall 2013 trip to Lake Como, Positano and Capri. How did you fly from Rome to Naples? Did you use a major carrier or a smaller carrier like EasyJet, etc. I am concerned because I will have 2 checked bags and a large (regulation though) carry-on, plus a purse.

I loved seeing your photos. I was in Italy last September too, and it was hot. I'm hoping they were having a heat wave and that it is cooler in October.

Delaine - We flew Alitalia from Boston to Naples, with a connection in Rome. Our hotel arranged for a car service from Naples to Positano. Enjoy your trip - sounds amazing!
