Stockholm is wonderful.
Don't miss Gamla Stan ( the Old Town )Vasa museum, the City Hall and a one hour boat ride to the Summer Palace.
Never been to Norway.

I agree that Stockholm is lovely. I didn't care much for Oslo, but I loved the rest of Norway, particularly Bergen.

Most who visit Norway for the first time mentions Bergen with the fjords.

Am planning a trip with my family to Russia and Scandinavia in May 07.
If you study Eurail guide, 2 of the 5 most scenic rail journeys are in Norway.
1. Norway in a nutshell- Oslo- Flam- Gundvangen- Voss- Bergen. Starts at 7.30am and ends at around 22.00 hrs in Bergen. Flam to Bergen is a boat, bus and mono rail journey.
I am breaking it over 3 days.
2. Oslo- Dombas- Andalsanes- 2 days.
Fjords, Waterfalls, mountain scenery.
This is closer to Arctic circle. You can plan it in such a way( 1-15 June)that if you go 3-4 hrs further to Trondenheim, you can see the mid-night Sun.
This should be the best part of the entire Scandinavia.
Try to spend more time in Bergen region. 21 days unlimited Scanrail pass is a good deal. Best Luck.
