saving threads

Can anyone tell me how to save messages so I can do a cut and paste?

I have saved some messages using the "save as" but I can't seem to get all the messages on the pickpockets in Italy thread.

I have looked on the help -maybe I missed it??

I highlight all or part of a post and copy it to a document.

I have tried this and it just loads and has taken so long that I have given up. Should I persevere even if it takes half and hour?

Have you tried emailing the thread to yourself?

You can bookmark the thread.

Right click on the thread title. In this case, "saving threads."

Select "Open in New Window."

When the new window opens up, it will show the "thread number." In the case of this thread, the number is: 34736440.

Bookmark the thread that you opened in new window. When you select Favorites, add to favorites, the default name will show as "Fodor's Travel Guides Forums." Just change it to the title of the thread, or to whatever title you wish to use.

Now that you have it bookmarked, you can open it up and copy/cut/paste those portions you want to keep into a word document. ((b))
