Satelite Tonight (Tue. 9/18)
 

Just heard on the radio that a satelite will be going around tonight at 7:30pm Pacific Time-10:30 Eastern Time to take pictures of all of us with lit candles!!!! <BR>Lets do it and show the world how united we are and how much we love our country! <BR>Send e-mails to friends and co-workers and relatives and neighbors and..... <BR>Besides, it will be fun! <BR>That satelite is a great idea! <BR>Lets hear later if you did it and what fun you had! <BR>Patti

not to spoil the fun but they are saying on tv that they won't be taking pictures. But, it is still a great idea to show we care.

<BR>Question for "sorry", if the satelite isn't going to take pics, what IS it doing, did they say? <BR> <BR>And thanks, Patti, for bringing this to our attention. I'll be out there with my family and all the neighbors we can muster, WITH candles. Even though the world won't see us (sniffle). <BR>

I've heard on reliable sources that this is yet another hoax, but heck, if you put the candle out, what could it hurt?

Hmmm...it's 7:23 pm here in the SF Bay Area and not even dark yet, so I don't think we'd be shining very brightly for a satellite photo. Great idea!

Well we did this on my block-about 14 people-we had a nice time of sharing our thoughts and feelings about this tragedy. If nothing else-it brought us together for awhile.
