Sardinia, Dubrovnik or Palma de Majorca?

Hi,

If you were to spend 5 days in either Sardinia, Dubrovnik or Palma de Majorca, which would you choose?

We are looking to unwind after spending 9 days in Berlin and Dresden. Near or on a beautiful beach, good food, some historical sites to visit and near or in a medieval town with people walking in the evening are what we are looking for.

Your help is much appreciated.

Well Dubrovnik is a fine little town and you can catch ferries to islands.

Majorca is very much a built up holiday island. The old centre of Palma is actually very nice and so is much of the countryside away from the coast and in the North West.

Sardinia is a big mountainous island with areas of high rise hotels.

I'd go to Dubrovnik

I have been to all of the above many times. I wouldn't go to any.

Go to Corsica, it has all the up sides of the above but none of the own sides.

Beautiful scenery, rustic and vibrant towns, great food, incredible beaches with good airline links.

The other destinations have the downsides of either being too busy, too quiet, too developed, poor food, swamped by cruise ships etc each in varying ways.

Corsica is perfect.
