Sardinia 2 Weeks - Where to go?

My partner and I are planning a two week long trip to Sardinia in June. We are looking for suggestions on what part of the island to visit. Ideally we would like to stay in one location for the full trip but are open to visiting two locations. We've both been to Italy but this will be our first time to Sardinia.

Our ideal vacation is being close to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores. We plan to spend most of our time eating and reading but being close to any walking or hiking trails would be a bonus. We would rather not be around too many tourists as the goal of this trip is to relax. We are not on a strict budget but we prefer to stay in a home rental so that we can cook our own meals sometimes.

Thanks in advance. I'm excited to hear your suggestions!

Guess no one here has been to Sardinia? I was there once but only visited the capital and a few other towns - was not struck by the island that much like I was with Sicily.

I know about everything in Sardinia. There are tons of places " close to the beach, restaurants and grocery stores."
Some of them are rather windy, others are famous for turquoise water, some are villages or small towns, others are in protected dune landscapes, etc.
There will not be much tourism in June anywhere.
