santornin - ephesus?
 

what's the easiest/quickest way to get from santorini to ephesus? is one day sufficient in ephesus? after ephesus we would need to find our way to istanbul. we prefer flights as we do are limited for time. thanks!!

I would say one day is definitely enough in Ephesus - just watch out though, I hope you are not going there in the midst of July/August - because it DOES get extremely hot. There are a lot of bus providers that you can take from Ephesus or Izmir to Istanbul. You can also fly from Izmir (which is the main city in the area) to Istanbul.

is there a way to get to izmir or kusadasi from santorini? it seems like an easier route then back to athens and then to izmir then back to istanbul.

I know for a fact that there are boats between Santorini and Bodrum (which is a little further south than Izmir/Ephesus), so I would think that you can get a reasonable boat ride between the two countries (only a few hours long).
