Santorni accommodations for five -- must we buy two rooms?

We're headed to Santorini in April, and we're a family of five adults. We would prefer one hotel room if possible. Is this possible, or should we just buy two rooms?

All suggestions are welcome. Our budget is flexible (100 Euros?), but we'd like to save on room costs because we spend the entire day out and about -- especially if we need two rooms!

All suggestions appreciated!!

I realize this is the off season, but your budget is unrealistic for a room that will hold five adults. One Hundred euros is very very low for Santorini anytime of the year, but for a larger room, I just don't think it's going to work. Hopefully, one of the people more familiar with budget hotels will give you some concrete advice.

There are a lot of apartment-style units in Santorini, some with little kitchens but some with multiple bedrooms, but I can't think of any in this price range.

Just for fun I went to booking dot com and punched in 4 nights in April for 5 persons. There are actually many hotels available but prices vary wildly.
For 4 nights all in in Oia you can expect to pay from 1400 euro to 2,000 euro for the 4 nights.
Santorini is all about location and that Caldera View so prices can vary. In Imerovigli you can get accommodation for 4 nights for 828 euro to 1240 euro.
Outside of Fira 2 to 4 km you can start to get some better ricing like 220 euro in Karterdaros to 520 at Caldera Butterfly (which does have a great view) and up to 1192 in town.
For bargain hotels you should consider heading out to the beaches. I found several hotels in Perissa for 4 nights ranging from 490 to 220, 200 160 and a low of 152. I ignored all hotels that provide accommodation for 4 plus a roll in bed and just looked at the ones that indicated 5 or 6 people.

Bottom line is, you need to decide if price or location is important. Go to a good booking site, input your dates and the number of people an check it out.

The Villa Manos in Karterados offers accomodations for 5 guests for only €55/night in April.

Apologies, I pulled the 100 figure out of my backside. I meant to indicate that we are flexible on the budget, meaning I will go up if I have to. I didn't want to pay for luxury, though. Location is more important than amenities.

I will poke around at booking dot com and see what's what. We will only have a few days so we can't handle being too far away from things.

OK, I've done some research and followed up on some of your suggestions. Right now, I'm leaning toward the Oia Waves. We could get the largest apartment for three of us and smaller apartment the other two guests. Total cost for four nights would be 520 Euros.

Any thoughts or experience with this establishment?

The only thing I think needs mentioning about Oia Waves is that it's as far down the side of the cliff as you can go, so be prepared for climbing a _LOT_ of steps to get back up into the village. If any of you have back, leg or respiratory issues it could be a problem. On the plus side it will be very quiet and private down there.
