Santorini hotel advice

I'd sincerely appreciate advice, because reviews for the hotels in Oia seem very mixed! I have the choice between the following for 3 or 4 nights, and would love to know which is most highly recommended. We have 2 children (6 & 8 yrs) and so the swimming pool is a nice bonus at a couple of these. But only if the overall experience is also great. Help?

1. Atlantida villas apartment (some very bad reviews and some are glowing)
2. Rimida villas apartment
3 Aris Caves apartment (no swimming pool, but highly rated with only a few poor reviews)
4. Leandros Suites Traditional Houses (no pool and very few reviews on-line).

Thanks so much!

Because of some unethical practices by the owner/manager I cannot recommend Atlantida Villas at this time.

Rimida shares a pool with Strogili Houses. This hotel is about 15 minutes' walk from the village square.

Aris Caves is directly below the village square in the heart of the village.

I know nothing about Leandros Suites.

Oia has a new business, the Lioyerma Cafe/Pool. It's a lovely facility. So if you were to choose Aris Caves or Leandros Suites you'd still have the use of a pool.

Apparently many of the glowing reviews of Atlantida Villas came from the manager himself (under various pseudonyms). :-(

Thank you so much for your insights. If you would choose personally between Rimida and Aris Caves, which do you feel is a better experience?

Many thanks!

They're both good choices, it really just depends on whether or not you prefer to be in the heart of the village or a short walk out. With children I would think that Rimida would be a better choice because of the pool.
