San Sebastian travel last 2 weeks Sept
 

Has anyone been to San Sebastian during the film festival. I will be visiting Spain again from Sept 15 - Oct 6. Plan to stay the first 2 weeks in SS as the base and include side trips around the Basque country. The film festival is last wk Sept and concerned it will be overcrowded. Was there 2nd wk last October and found it to ideal.

The main affects will be the price and availability of a decent hotel room and getting restaurant reservations, unless you do so well in advance. The rest of the area us unaffected.
