San Sebastian to Santander
 

I am taking a flight from Santander to Frankfurt. We will be staying in San Sebastian the few days before we leave. Do I take the bus from San Sebastian to Santander or does the train connect the two cities? How long does it take? How convinient is the Santander airport? Hope someone can help. Thanks

From San Sebastián to Santander take the Alsa bus-much quicker than the train.
The "Supra" service is faster with only one intermediate stop in Bilbao, and although pricier, for me, it's worth the extra 10 euros. There's a Supra that leaves at 7:10, arriving at 9:45.

Forgot to mention that a taxi from the Santander bus station to the airport should run around 15€. Read all about the airport here:
