San Quirico Hotel Information

I am considering using San Quirico as a base for my next trip. Several Fodorites have recommended Relais Palazzo del Capitano, which looks lovely. I usually don’t stay in the city center because of early morning / late night noise. Can anyone tell me if del Capitano is relatively quiet? Any other suggestion for nice, quite hotels in San Quirico or nearby towns?

Thanks,

It will be VERY quiet. Have you considered an agriturismo in the surrounding, beautiful area or are you set on staying in a town?

San Q's Centro is too small to have ANY noise...morning or night.

"City" and "San Quirico" don't really exist in the same sentance. Imagine 2 to 4 storey buildings, no cars and two relativley silent bars facing each other across a cobbled pedestrian square (the size of a basket ball pitch) this is a nice quiet hotel

Well, on the day of market, I WOULD expect quite a lot of early noise as trucks pull out, tents and counters are set up, metal poles are tossed about, etc. So yes, there could be some VERY annoying noise in tiny little San Quirico -- even before dawn.

The San Quirico market is once every-other week/or twice a month (don't remember which). I think it's on a Tuesday.
