San Isidro 2011 Bullfight Tickets Online

I can not find the San Isidro Bull fight tickets to purchase online ANYWHERE! Do we just wait till we get to Madrid to buy them? I don't want them to sell out! I tried www.ticketstoros.com but they do not have May 31st-June 6th dates listed (the dates we will be there). They must be having fights during this time right? PLEASE HELP!

It is too early for such purchases. There will be no finality yet to who appears in the programme.

As wombatt says, it's far too early for the cartel. And hopefully, Sebastián Castella, who was injured yesterday in Columbia, will be fully recovered by then.

I was in Madrid 2 years ago during San Isidro and we picked up tickets for a bullfight on the day. Apart from maybe the opening and closing fights of the festival or weekends, there should not be a problem finding tickets, wait till closer to the day.

Hey--we'll be there for the same dates and I have been looking for tickets as well. bullfightticketsmadrid.com does not show availability either, so i was worried that they were already sold in advance.

anyone know when these typically become available?

Most of the best seats for bullfights in Spain are owned by season ticket holders, no different than any other major event. Tickets for those seats not already reserved are released, but not until after they announce the cartel (matadors and bull ranches).

Once the cartel is announced, you can find some tickets being scalped online, or you can purchase those not reserved for the season ticket holders.

Maybe the experts here can help me with a related question. My father and I want to go to Madrid in the fall, and we want our trip to coincide with the bullfights they (used to?) have in October. We want to see the big names (El Juli, S. Castella, etc.) but I can't find any information about the fall bullfights at Las Ventas. I thought I read somewhere that Madrid's major fall festival has been moved to the Spring (huh?), so maybe there won't bullfights in October anymore. I'm just trying to find out when, approximately,Madrid will host a major bullfight festival in the fall so I can plan my trip around it. Thanks!

I just purchased 2 tickets from Bullfightticketsmadrid.com for June 5th for a reasonable price. They will have tickets available to pick up in Madrid the week of the fight, or will have them sent your Madrid hotel.

We are staying in Hostal Acapulco and they told us the website is trustworthy.

The controversial but thrilling tradition of bullfighting is still very much alive in Spain, especially so in Madrid. Most towns only hold bullfights during their annual spring or summer fiestas, but Madrid's Las Ventas Bullfighting Ring hold regular corridas. Book your tickets in advance http://www.servitoro.com

Interesting plug for a new ticket venue. Too bad you don't cover the Feria del Toro in Pamplona.

If you stay at a good hotel in Madrid they can "arrange" to get you good tickets.

We went last May for a very good fight, all arranged by the hotel. The King attended. Superb event.

It's much cheaper to book through an agency or to go to the bullring to buy your tickets unless you want something special like Barrera de Preferencia or Barrera tickets.

See if you can get a ticket if legendary José Tomás is on, the greatest of the past ten years. http://www.theolivepress.es/spain-ne...n-in-valencia/
