Samos / Ikaria from Turkey( Kusadasi )
 

Planning to spend some time ( around 5 days) in Samos, as part of the holiday from Izmir/ Kusadasi in the first week of October '18 Would like your opinion, suggestions on a few thing.

# Ferry from Kusadasi to Samos (Vathi)- Frequency, journey time and cost.
# Ideal place to spend a couple of days by the sea,Kokkari beach looks good,Looking for
one more location on Samos ( a pretty village with a taverna).If its only Samos
# Is it worth dividing time and spend a couple of days in Ikaria.( heard that there is no public transport in Ikaria and I don't wish to drive around).What are the options.
# Fourni Korseon too is an option. If so any info like places to stay and visit solicited.

We spent a week on Samos in early October - be aware the tourist areas are at the end of their season and quite a few resto were closed.

Bro, thanks for the link. Immimi, planning to stay on Kokkari. Prefer the shoulder season for some peace and quiet.Any more info on Samos welcome
