Salzburg itenary
 

We have about 2.5 days in salzburg in mid july. I get the impression that 3 nights may be more in salzburg. any suggestions for some daytrips from salzburg. Will greatly appreciate inputs.

We rented a car and drove out to the salt mines in Hallstatt then came back through the lake country vie St. Gilgen and Mondsee.

Take the boat ride up the Salzach River to the Hellbrun Castle.
