My husband and I will be in Salzburg from 12/26/02 through 1/3/03. We want to go skiing, any suggestions where we should go? Also, we will be there for New Year's and wanted any suggestions of what to do. I would like to do something really nice.<BR><BR>Thanks in advance,<BR><BR>Kim

Have you selected a ski area? We visited Filzmoos several years ago - not fancy but not expensive, either. Equipment rental was easy, hotels were quite decent, and there were several nice restaurants and night spots.

Christmas markets near Mozartplatz, ice skating rink at Mozartplatz, lovely hotel we stayed in was called Hotel Wolf. So clean, great location, and well-kept. Breakfast included. Stroll the narrow streets of old town, ride the funicular up to the old fort,<BR>As you stroll, stop for some warm Gluhwein at the stalls. You'll have the best time!
