Salsburg Card
 

Is it worth it to purchase the Salsburg card, it will be only my husband and me. We are not big museum people so I'm thinking it might be cheaper to just pay for the attractions we go to. What's the opinion out there?

I hate to sound like some of the Fodor Know-it-alls, but what's with everybody misspelling "Salzburg" with a second "s"? Is that a newly accepted alternative spelling I don't know about?

Actually Zeus, there's only one user spelling it Salsburg.

Really not a problem either - I think we all know she means Salzburg. The only difficulty it will cause is if suze1 searches this forum or other websites for info about Salsburg, chances are it'll bring up very little info. Google will say "did you mean Salzburg" - very handy thing, as I spell a lot of words incorrectly.

After watching all these ED adds on TV, I've even taken to spelling the falls on the NY/Canada border Niagra....

I've been to Salzburg five times and never felt the need to purchase the card. Daily bus pass worked fine and I never had the mad urge to see 5 museums in a day that I anticipated was the break even point.

Well, I'm glad I got one person's opinion on the card, thanks JN.
