salerno to capri

does anyone know , how to get from salerno to capri?

is there hydrfoil service?

Well there could be hydrofoil service in peak seasons but perhaps not direct but via Amalfi - otherwise the year-round surefire way would be to take the dramatic Amalfi Coast buses to Sorrento where there is regular and frequent ferries to Capri.

Hi TC - There are currently 2 ferries daily on the Salerno-Capri route -

dep. 07.50 and 08.30
(Ferries depart from Piazza della Concordia dock, Salerno)

In high season there is also a hydrofoil service as Pal says.
Hydrofoils depart from Molo Manfredi dock on the western edge of Saleno.

For details see:

Hope this helps ...

Note that the vessels from Salerno are relatively small and that the sailings are liable to be cancelled in bad weather. The regular ferries to Capri are from Sorrento or Napoli. If you plan to sail from Salerno, have an alternative plan in case the sailing is cancelled.
