Sailing Turkish Coast

My husband and I are thinking of going on an organised one week sailing trip off the south coast of Turkey next May. I was wondering if anyone knows how safe it is now, with the conflict in Syria or is that area unaffected?
Thank you,
Marea

We just returned from the Turkish Mediterranean and Aegean coasts and went as far east as Antalya c.. No problems at all. We particularly enjoyed Fethiye. Beautiful part of the world. Watch for updates from Otherchelebi on this forum.

If you are looking for sailing we had a fabulous week with Sea Scape Sail in Turkey. www.seascape-sail.com.
It is run by a couple who are British but have lived in Greece and have sailed Greece and Turkey for many years. I am sure they would have up to date information about any safety issues. Our trip was right after the Iraq war started and some were nervous but the Turkish people could not have been more kind and generous to us Americans. One of our best trips ever.
