We went with Saga Holiday's last October, to Spain's Costa Calida. Based for the 2 weeks at the same hotel in La Manga, 3 buffet meals daily, wine with lunch and dinner, free open bar from 11:00a. til 11:00p., entertainment almost nightly at poolside or inside, 6 guided tours in air-conditioned coaches, 3 half and 3 full day. Murcia, Caravaca, Cartagena, Lorca, Torrevieja, La Manga and Mar Menor. Balconied room, with small kitchenette enclosed behind folding doors. Did not need, with all the food downstairs! Side view of Med. and Mar Menor. Hotel was Los Delphines, with a European 4 Q rating. High rating, but none the less, no wash cloths, as is common in Europe's hotels. Bring a couple of you own. Well worth the money! We'll go with them again! Enjoy your trip!!! <BR>

I'm glad that someone else besides myself knows about Saga. I assume that because they specialize in over 55 that we don't get much response on the net. My question about Saga two weeks ago had only one response and it was an indirect recomendation. I'm going to be their ship, the Sagarose (formerly the Cunard ship, Sagafjord) in August. I'm heartened by the good response you've had for their tours. There's millions of us over 55- let's hear from you.

My brother in law and his wife have gone on a couple of Saga tours and enjoyed them. Thought you'd like to know that Brits say Saga stands for "Send A Granny Abroad"!!
