"Sacre Bleu" by Christopher Moore
I know this belongs in the lounge, and I did post it there, but I also thought I'd post it here for all of the France Fodorites. It's new, I just started it and I can't put it down.
Happy reading =D> |
I usually love Christopher Moore but I'm having trouble getting thru this one. I got it from the library and it's a beautiful book (blue print, lots of color prints of paintings) but the story just isn't grabbing me.

Thanks for mentioning this. I have enjoyed every one of his books (except the one written by another Christopher Moore with a different sense of humor, which I read by mistake).
|
I have to post again. This book REALLY picked up for me in the second half. I'm almost done with it, and ended up enjoying it very much!!
|
I'm waiting for my co-worker to lend me her copy; can't wait. My favourite Christopher Moore book so far is 'LAMB, The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal' (read it if you haven't already!)
|
hmmm, I have Lamb in my desk drawer at the office, haven't started it yet, plan to read it at lunch-times.
My favorite by far is an early novel (I think besides Lamb I've read everything he's written) was "Island of the Sequined Love Nun". |
Every one of his books can give me hiccups. But they are not for everybody.
