Ryanair - Don't they accept Switch?

Hi - A question for Ryanair experts ...

I've booked with Ryanair several times before with my Switch/Maestro debit card.

Now Switch/Maestro doesn't seem to be an option any more for their website bookings :(

Am I missing something?

Yup.

Go through the booking and it's there. As Switch.

What's NOT there are non-Switch, non-UK debit cards that might have a Maestro logo. But Switch is definitely there.

Thanks Flanner.

I've found the problem - it's that I'm trying to book a flight starting in Italy, not England. Fortunately a friend with Visa has helped me out so ... problem solved :)

I had the same problem trying to book flights originating in Dublin, when my hubby worked there. At least it's better than BA who wouldn't let me book a flight originating abroad (Naples) at all !! (I used bmi instead.)

Not Ryanair, or even Europe, but a couple of years ago I was booking internal flights in South Africa using SAA, and went through about 10 web pages, booking about 12 individual flights, only to be told at the end of the process "We can only accept Credit cards issued in South Africa".
