Hey all. I seeing so very cheao flights from Paris to Milan, Paris to Barcelono,and.or Paris to Venice one way for no more then 26euros on dates i want to travel. My problem is im not sure yet if i want to reserve those specific dates and am curious just how easy and long these fares remain available. What if i wait untill 2days before i wish to fly out of Paris, will i be able to find the same deals at ryan air or other airlines?

Also, are the flights from paris to venice or milan airports in the middle of nowhere or can i easily get to cites from them. I just dont want to spend a small fortune getting transportation from these small airports.

i WAS THINKING ABOUT getting a railpass but at 25euros and saving me 10 plus hoursa on a train, it might be worth it, please give me all of your opinions.

Ryanair flights to Barcelona land in Girona. There are Ryanair buses to Barcelona Estacion del Norte (11 Euros one way, 19 Euros both ways - approx. 1hr15 mn).
Ryanair flights to Venice land in Treviso. The cheapest way to get to Venice is to take a train from Treviso station (1 Euro - 15 mn).
Flights to Milan land in Bergamo. You can take the Autostradale bus to Milan (8 Euros) or take the Airpullman bus to Bergamo station, then a train to Milan.

the chances are that the flight costs will increase as you get closer to the date. Prices vary according to demand ; I've just been stung for a flight next week over the Easter period.

BTW, Paris is actually Beauvais.

You'd be better off IMO if you took the EASYJET flight from Paris to Barcelona since thier flights lands at BCN and not in Girona; however the price difference (EasyJet vs. RyanAir may be a deal breaker for you)

The same holds true with the EasyJet flight from CDG to Malpensa vs. the RyanAir flight to Bergamo.

Obviously it is a matter of both price and convenience for some.

And in these cases you'll get 5Kg more of checked luggage on EasyJet (20 Kg) vs RyanAir (15 Kg)

As to the prices...I don;t think there is any doubt whatsoever that in most cases the closer you get to the flight date the higher the price will be unless absolutely few people are taking the flight.

Ryanair's checked allowance is 20kg, though you have to pay €3.50 per bag checked in online or €7 if you present it without prechecking.

I've never, ever heard of last-minute low prices on Ryanair or Easyjet. They occasionally sell off seats at very low prices a couple of weeks beforehand - but 2 days prior, their prices are usually at least as high as conventional airlines.

Apparently the competition forced Ryanair to up their checked baggage allowance from 15 to 20 Kg and that seems like a good thing.

Now I wonder how long it will take EasyJet to impose their own checked baggage charge.

I only have 9 days in Italy and really wish to not waste too much time traveling. If I fly into either Venice or Milan from Paris and have to fly out of Rome 9 days later, do any of you have nay good Itinerary suggestions for me to get to Cirque Terre Region, Pisa, then Naples/Capri and FInally Rome for last 2 days?

IM finding it difficult to make a decisions since im traveling alone and sooo much to do. This must be what a husband or wife is for.

Adam - With your itinerary it would make more sense to fly into Pisa.

You might find that it's a good deal, all things considered - as you will cut journey time/ expense from Milan or Venice to Cinque Terre.
