Ryan air Dublin & Kerry airports
We've never been to Ireland but since we are flying Ryan Air from Germany and can get from Stansted to Dublin or Kerry for 1 p. can anyone tell us if the airports are very far from city centres?

Dublin has one airport so whoever you fly with from Germany you will end up at the same place. It's an easy journey into the centre of the city from the airport. I got a bus but there are other options.
Dublin is one of the places that you won't end up at some far away airfield mile from the city that Ryanair use in various other places.

Dublin is easy - bus to centre every 30 mins.
Kerry, more difficult. It is not far from Killarney but there is no airport bus.
If you are adding on just a few days I would go to Dublin. Lots to see but very expensive!!

<<Dublin is one of the places that you won't end up at some far away airfield mile[s] from the city that Ryanair use in various other places.>>
Another Ryanair myth being perpetrated...
Here is the complete list of cities that Ryanair serves.
Aarhus Aberdeen Alghero Alicante Almeria Altenburg Ancona Barcelona Bari Beauvais Bergerac Berlin Biarritz Bilbao Birmingham Blackpool Bologna Bournemouth Bradford Bratislava Brescia Brindisi Bristol Brno Brussels Bydgoszcz Carcassonne Cardiff Charleroi Ciampino Compostela Cork Derry Dinard Doncaster Dublin Durham Düsseldorf Edinburgh Eindhoven Esbjerg Faro Florence Forli Frankfurt Friedrichshafen Gatwick Gdañsk Genoa Girona Glasgow Gothenburg Granada Graz Grenoble Hahn Hamburg Haugesund Jerez Karlsruhe-Baden Kaunas Kerry Klagenfurt Knock Krakow La Rochelle Leeds Leipzig Limoges Linz Liverpool Lodz Loire London Luton Lübeck Malaga Malmo Manchester Midlands Milan Montpellier Murcia Nantes Newcastle Newquay Nîmes Oslo Palermo Paris Pau Perpignan Pescara Pisa Poitiers PortAventura Porto Poznan Prestwick Pyrenees Reus Riga Rochefort Rodez Rome Rzeszów Salzburg Santander Santiago Sardinia Schonefeld Seville Shannon Sheffield Skavsta Stansted Stockholm St. Etienne Sturup Szczecin Tampere Tees Torp Toulon Tours Treviso Trieste Turin Valencia Valladolid Valley Vasteras Venice Verona Vienna Weeze Wroclaw Zaragoza
Of these 130+ airports, 13 might reasonably said to have a(? the?) larger (closer?) airport not served by Ryanair.
Berlin Brussels Düsseldorf Frankfurt Hamburg Glasgow London Oslo Paris Rome Stockholm Venice Verona Vienna
Admittedly, the number of flights that depart or arrive at one of these airports is way more than 10% of the total.
But to the vast majority of the NUMBER of places that Ryanair serves, they use the one/only/closest airport for that city.
Best wishes,
Rex
