Just don't be surprised if you're sitting on a saddle sort of thing with pedals underneath. No pedal, no fly.

I have flown Ryanair 2 times and had comfortable seats and a good flight. Some stories aren't as good as mine, but that is true with any airline these days. Also, my flights were not to the USA.
From Italy to Ireland and from England to France.

Interesting. Not likely to be good news for the big legacy carriers, as they have sought refuge in the long-haul market to escape the likes of Ryanair pushing down their prices.

I would think that, in the short-term, this might be a good thing for travelers, if we see a fare war or big bonus offers from the major carriers, as they try to fight them off. In the long run, I suspect it will end up making the long-haul experience more and more like the short-haul one: no food, tighter seating, checked bag fees, etc.
