Ryan Air

Has anyone every used Ryan Air? I want to book flight for 4 roundtrip from Shannon to Gatwick and can't believe the low fare 10 euro there and 3 euro return per person. With taxes and fees comes up to 122 euro or $147. I would like some feedback on Ryan Air's dependibility please. Thank you.

YES - depenendabe and cheap as long as you don't have excess luggage and appear at the check in on time.

I too was rather suspicious and didn't want to "take a chance". But that was four flights ago. Great airline- for the price. Go for it.

have to pay extra for reserved seats i think? Mostly good reports on Ryanair but some extra charges like for checked luggage of certain size and 10 euro fare may or may not be bookable even though it shows up unless you book real early.

Thanks to all of you for quick responses! My daughter flew with Ryan when she was there and told me how inexpensive it was but I found hard to believe. Guess I'll go for it!

It's Ryanair BTW, a tadge pedantic BUT when you are trying to search for info about it, it's best to have the right spelling

SL - Be aware of their new baggage charges as of next month, I think.

See their website for details:
