RV Rentals in Norway
 

Hi,

We're planning a trip to Norway for next June for 2 1/2 weeks. I was thinking how much fun it would be to rent an RV and travel to whereever we like whenever we like. I'm finding that rental prices are quite high in Norway for RV's and the best price I'm finding is in Hamburgh, Germany.

Any thoughts or recommendation on this plan would be greatly appreciated.

We were orginally suppose to be going to Norway this past summer but had to cancel our trip due to a serious car accident my husband was in. We're now thinking that it would be easier to focus on only a few countries, specifically Norway where my husbands ancestors came from. We'd like to visit the fjords, mountains, ancestory homes...maybe even relatives if we can find any...not sure where they're at. We'd like to hit Trondheim, Bergen. Mostly into taking pictures, history, hiking and meeting some wonderful people.

<Grace you must have some idea of origins ? Lots of websites to find info on past relatives. To rent in Germany will also be expensive, going across borders ?

My husband does ancestory and is very heavily involved in researching family members. He did mention that the Voss & Trondheim areas are where his family came from. Venn is one name I can think of...I'll have to ask him about what others.
