Tequila - thank you for the great info on the Paris route. Something funny about getting fitness advice from someone named "Tequila" - ha-ha. Speaking of tequila, I might just have a Margarita at the end of my run!
Heck, I might just have one NOW! Cheers!

Hi--we just returned and I went out early Sunday to take pictures of the bridges for paintings--which I had better get going on--and the left bank was closed to traffic--lots of runners and some roller bladers, but a beautiful, quiet timeto go out for a run for sure--no cars!!

Just returned from our trip to France, and wanted to say that my early morning run in Paris was the highlight of our trip. Left the hotel (near Ecole Militaire) and ran up the promenade, under the Eiffel, followed the Seine along the left bank to Pont Royal, over to the Louvre and ran the courtyard, back along the Seine on the right bank to the Pont d'Alma and back under the Eiffel. Started the run about 6am, and felt like I had Paris all to myself. Other than the few homeless and other runners, there was very little traffic and people. Not too many people can say they were the only one under the Eiffel and at the Lourvre! It was inspiring and a very memorable experience. Highly recommend it. Thanks for your encouragement and suggestions.
