ROYAL HORSEGUARDS HOTEL, London, England

Has anyone stayed at this hotel. How big are the rooms? Is it safe at night to walk alone? Is it walking distance to the West End theatres.

I used to stay in Mayfair, but it is so expensive now.

You can post an answer here or email me at [email protected].

Thanks amillion

The Horseguards is a wonderful hotel in a great location. As any part of central London is pretty much safe if you take any sort of precautions, that really isn't anissue.

And it is very close to Trafalgar Square and from there a short walk to theatres in Haymarket, Shaftsbury Ave/Soho, and in/near Covent Garden.

We stayed there at the end of last year. Our rooms were a very generous size and were warm and very comfortable. We loved the bathrooms. the hotel is very convenient for the
Tube and is just a block or so from Whitehall.
