Royal Air Maroc or Air France from Rabat?

We are flying from Rabat, Morocco to Paris and our airline choice is Royal Air Maroc or Air France.
The price and flight times are about the same. Does anyone a recommendation one way or the other?
In looking at airline reviews, they both get poor marks and I am concerned that the flight may be cancelled.
Thanks!

I have flown both several times from Casablanca/Marrakesh. They were both fine.

Both fine. Why would you be concerned about cancellation ? On which ?

I think the flights are operated as a pool, so you can end up on one airline or the other even if you thought your ticket was for a specific airline. Both airlines serve alcohol on their flights on that route while not serving pork.

If a flight is cancelled, you will be put on the next one, and there are plenty of flights.

My concern was that there is only one Royal Air Maroc flight from Rabat and only two Air France flights on the Thursday that we want to fly. I would hate to miss a day in Paris if the flight was cancelled. You have alleviated my fears though. Thank you!

Well, that's normal. There aren't THAT many people wanting to fly Rabat to Paris on any given day.

I flew Royal Air Maroc from NYC to Casablanca -- I believe it is the only direct flight. You hear horror stories but I was satisfied with the service. It is true that on one flight my lights were controlled by the switches for the seat behind me. I should have been worried, I guess, but nothing came of it. The flights were not full and we were able to grab some extra space for naps. I had heard they sometimes run out of water but on my flights this was not true (I took an extra bottle or two for insurance). Based on my one round-trip, I would use them again.
