Rouen - Metro-Tram-Train-where does it run how does it work

We are trying to find a hotel in Rouen, a bit outside of the city centre that is close to the public transport system in Rouen. We can't seem to find any information about where the metro exactly runs, and then match it up with anything on Google maps. We have tried looking at Google maps, but again can't get fine enough detail to see tracks on the road / or metro cars running. We will likely have a car having driven from Paris, so that is whey we want to be a bit outside of the city centre for easy parking. Any help suggestions greatly appreciated.

I drove into Rouen and parked my car at the underground garage at Hotel de Ville for the couple of nights that I was there. Then, I was able to walk to everything.
