<BR>I am planning a trip to Germany and I have everything planned except for one question. Im planning to travel by train and I'm trying to find a nice place to stay in Rothenburg near the Bahnhof if not are there taxi's you can catch from the Bahnhof to a hotel? <BR>Thanks Dan

I would recommend you find a hotel within the walled part of the city; it is possible to walk from the far end of the medieval part of the city to the Bahnhof in 20 minutes or so. We stayed at the Hotel Reichs-Kuechenmeister in 1997 and walked everywhere from there; We had an early train on our journey to Berlin the morning we left and they will fix up a tray if you are too early for their breakfast hours. As we had a small refrigerator in the room, this worked out well. They also have a restaurant in addition to the breakfast included with the room. You might find out more until the Flair Hotels site or Golden Tulip -- I think they belong to one of those. <BR>

There were several taxis at the Bahnhof when our train arrived in Rotheburg, so you should have no problem getting a taxi to your hotel.
