You've been living in Rome for a year. Instead of posting "urgent" requests here, consider buying a guidebook.
Or use some of the excellent Rome Web sites like www.060608.it or www.turismoroma.it.

Zerlina, if you don't know the answer or think there is something wrong with a post asking for quick advice on Fodor's,, why answer the post? It seems to me motumotu's requests are always polite and no more burdensome than any other poster. Since when does living for Rome for a year mean you forfeit your right to ask for help on Fodor's, or ask for a fast response like other people do?
Motumotu, needless to say, you're free to post as many questions as you like for however long you stay in Italy. Sorry I don't know the answer to your question.

There is indeed a beautiful municipal rose garden in Rome (and it's not actually in many of the guide books).
It's on the Viale del Circo Massimo - nearest Metro is Circo Massimo.
If you go to the bottom of this page :
http://www.explore-italian-culture.c...s-climate.html
You'll also find details of opening hours etc.
Hope this is helpful.

Of course Motumotu has the right to ask as many "urgent" questions as s/he likes. S/he just might get answers more quickly by using a guidebook or the Web sites I mentioned.
As it happens, I do know the answer, and I found it on one of the Web sites. The Municipal Rose Garden on Via di Valle Murcia on the Aventine is open every day from May 16 to June 6, between 8 am and 7:30 pm. Admittedly, on the Italian version, but it doesn't take much to understand dates and hours in Italian...

Thanks to all. Actually,I heard from one of my friends about Rose Garden in Rome, though he was also not sure about it and its location. We wanted to go to this garden today itself. This is the reason why I marked it as urgent. Since, it is clear from the above mentioned posts that it is open only from May 16-June 6, we will visit the garden during that period. I believe I could not find such a wonderful info as above on searching through the guide books/internet on my own. Once again, thanks for the information.

Thanks alihutch. I found the link below from the link given by you...
http://www.italyheaven.co.uk/rome/roseto.html
But it is written that it is open in May and June but nowhere it is written that it is open from May 16-June 6, as mentioned by Zerlina above. I want to know if it is open tomorrow, 9 May 2010 (Sunday)
