roomier than a coffin

Last year I stayed in one of the hotels near the British Museum. The room was slightly roomier than coffin, but only slightly. It was almost a mysitc experience sleeping packaged in that room. I desperately need a bigger room this year but my spending capacity is laughable. Are there such things as spacious rooms at human prices in Central London? Say a room of the size of 150 feet?

Hey Krish,

M_K should be ignored most of the time, but racist?

In re your question, nearly all of the hotels around the BM are small, with little rooms.

Look up the Hotel Russell. You might be able to find a special rate.

Thanks friend. My monkey was up because he was mocking at my poverty.

Hi krish,

I got interested in the Hotel Russell.

Go here for rates as low as 50GBP/nite.

Uh, hate to tell you this, but if you are expecting a spacious renovated room at the Russell Hotel near the British Museum, then you WILL have to pay spacious renovated rates. This hotel has unrenovated rooms "slightly roomier than a coffin" as well, and for 50GBP, I'm quite sure you'll be experiencing deja vu -check it out on TripAdvisor.com, and you'll see what I mean. There are a number of small guesthouses around Russell Square, some of which do have more spacious rooms-but you have to give a price range of what you're willing to spend.
