Rome Visitor Passes
We are looking for advise on which tickets (Passes) to purchase in advance for visiting Rome’s museums, and other historical sites. Traveling later April.
|
You are travelling between April 18, April 25 and May 1? Get all tickets in advance, even if it is not mandatory. Why waiting in line?
Don't be fooled by resellers and tour operators: the only line you can skip is the line to purchase tickets and you can easily skip it by buying tickets in advance on the official sites. Covid and crowds during National holydays aside, the tickets of the Borghese Gallery are timed and they must be booked in advance. It's not an option. |
In general the passes are a bad investment. You can't run around enough to justify the cost. Better to buy tickets for the sites you really want to see.
Buy only from the official websites. Which is part of the problem with the passes. The Vatican is one set of fees. Rome is a different one. https://tickets.museivaticani.va/home https://www.coopculture.it/en/tickets/ Don't buy from third parties. |
