No 2012 trip planned for me but thanks for posting!
Interesting, thanks for sharing!
Thanks. May get to some of them on our trip.
Thanks. I've wanted to visit the Tomb of the Scipios for a long while.
Also worth noting is that for a limited time only, the Borghese gallery is exhibiting many extremely important artworks from the original Borghese collection that ordinarily can only be seen in the Louvre.
Wow! The Tomba degli Scipioni AND Basilica di Porta Maggiore!!!! Those have been on my wish list for decades!
Thank you so much for posting. |
Thank you, Steve. We are going to Rome in May. Looking forward to seeing these interesting places.

Just booked our tour of the Colosseum dungeons 10 minutes ago. Can't wait to see them.
michele_d - how did you book the Colosseum underground tour? From what I've read online, I thought it's closed due to the rain...
ID...I booked here http://www.tickitaly.com/tours/colos...level-tour.php
In the fine print it states that if the dungeons flood that your tour will still continue, but you might not be able to actually go into the dungeons. We're not going until May 20th. It really sounds interesting. |
