Rome train to Florence
 

I am scheduled to arrive at the airport in Rome at 8:00 a.m. I then want immediately to take a train from Rome to Florence. How early can my reservation for the train be?

You can make a reservation no later than 2 hr before departure time.

You can buy your ticket at the train station at FCO and probably make the 10:55, definitely the 11:30.

Thanks. If I reserve in advance and the flight is delayed, will I be able to exchange the train ticket for a later one?

i believe you have to take the train from the airport to the termini station in rome and then the train to florence..

Your ticket is valid for the train. It does not guarantee a seat.

If you miss your train, you have to pay for another reservation. On ES* trains you have to have a reservation.

The shuttle from FCO to Rome TE does not permit reservations.
