Rome Tour Guides

Does anyone have an opinion or preference between the following tour companies: Through Enternity, Rome Walks or Scala Reale? Names of guides would be very much appreciated as well. Thanks!!

It was 5 years ago, but I remember that "Rome Walks" was the name of the company we took our tours through. We had a great guide, but I could never remember his name, sorry. But I really enjoyed the tours.

We made a tour with Enjoy Rome (Ancient Rome, through the Forum, Colosseum, etc) last October, and was great. The tours are always in English (we made a tour with an American art student). The place is near the central station in Rome, and the web site is www.enjoyrome.com. Enjoy!

Thank you both!

Please do a search on Scala Reale and you will find many responses describing the high caliber of this company and of their docents, both in education and as tour leaders. I, for one, have taken both the Enjoy Rome Vatican tour and the Scala Reale Vatican tour and believe the SR tour to be substantially more informative and of higher quality than the Enjoy Rome tour.
